a good friend of mine, Jim, came up with this idea...with a little help, for a great mother's day gift for his wife. every woman i've described this idea too always gives the same reaction..."awwwww....", "that's so sweet...".   i have to admit it's a GREAT idea and what mother wouldn't melt seeing her son holding up the letters "M O M"? i think Jim is going to score some major points with his wife for this one.

i was happy to do this for him and his son, Ben was a PRO!  to be honest, the shoot only took about 15 minutes and i didn't even have to ask him to pose or anything.  he knew exactly what to do.  made my job much easier.

Jim had to scheme a plan together with his wife's friend to get Ben after work this week while she and her friend had a girl's night out and thankfully it worked perfectly.  hopefully the surprise hasn't been ruined but you can't blame an almost 4 year old for not keeping a secret from his mommy.

even though Ben was such a good little model, Jim still had to bribe him a little with some candy.

 you can't tell by the photos but the park was crawling with ducks...and all the smells that come with them.

i love this shot...kids are so real sometimes.
